Fedur plate

Extremely wear-resistand and a patented grid

Fedur plate has amply proven itself all over the world under the toughest conditions. The top layer is extremely hard with at least 58 HRc. The base layer has a hardness of 200 HB. The correct ratio of top and base layer makes it easy to form and weld.

Fedur plate is easy to use. The base layer of Fedur is ductile, tensile, tough and easy to weld. Fedur can be safely moved using lifting magnets.

Fedur plate:

  • Available in standard dimensions
  • Can be produced in different sizes and thicknesses
  • Different thicknesses possible between top layer and base layer
  • Available with welded threads
  • Can be cut with torch, plasma or water jet
  • Easy control of layer thicknesses by ultrasonic measurement

Fedur plate is easy to check with various test methods. Despite the two layers
(top and base) you only measure 1-1.5 percent deviation in the thickness test. Of course, we test every product before we deliver.

We have various in-house testing methods, including:
  • Ultrasonic testing (PA/ TOFD)
  • Magnetic particle inspection (MP)
  • Micro Vickers hardness test (HV)
  • Brinell hardness test (HRc)
  • Rockwell C hardness test (HRc)
  • Positive Materials Identification (PMI)
  • Chemical Material Analysis
