Inspection Pipes

Inspection at the highest level

The robust GCF valves contain Tridur wear-resistant locking plates. These plates control the passage of abrasive hydro transports. Our in-house engineering ensures seamless slurry passage through the Fedur valve body in the pipe line. The durable valves are used in slurry regulating loading systems (hoppers) and in bulk loading and unloading systems, among others. The valve is known for its particularly long service life, especially the service life of the control valve for regulated liquid control.

Characteristics of GCF valves:

  • The GCF Tridur valve plate is extremely hard ≥ 62 HRc, usually 64 HRc (800 HV) up to the Base Layer.
  • The Tridur Base (intermediate) Layer is ductile, tensile, tough and perfectly weldable.
  • Tridur has a very good price-quality ratio.
  • The Tridur Top Layers have a particularly fine microstructure combined with constant hardness over the entire wear layer.
  • Tridur has two smooth surfaces.
  • The Tridur Base Layer acts as an impact filter for the 2 Top Layers.
  • Choosing the correct ratio of Top Layers – Base (intermediate) Layer creates a good balance between hardness and toughness.
  • The Tridur locking plate can be UT (ultrasonic) measured and therefore optimally monitored.
  • No additional weight compared to “conventional steel” pieces.
  • GCF valves are 100% recyclable and have a very favorable CO2 footprint.
  • GCF valves last up to 10 times longer than conventional steel such as S235J2.
